A very rare 'Metallo' lawn tennis racquet with aluminium frame circa 1920, gut strings and cork-covered handle This racquet does not appear to be recorded anywhere. After passing through the holes of the frame the strings run over a leather strip. Possibly earlier than 1920 date we have suggested.
