A blue England international cap awarded for the pre-1966 World Cup tour to Norway, Denmark & Poland, awarded for appearances in all three games For their final preparations for the 1966 World Cup tournament, England played four matches in continental Europe. George Cohen was awarded this cap for playing in three of the games v Norway, Denmark & Poland. Jimmy Armfield wore the No.2 shirt in the other match v Finland. England proved they were in good shape for the World Cup by winning all four games whilst scoring 12 goals and conceding just the once.
