A rare scorecard for the highest innings total ever posted in the history of English County Cricket, Yorkshire's 887 v Warwickshire at Edgbaston 7th & 8th May 1895, leaving themselves a day to bowl out Warwickshire twice a feat they failed to achieve, taking only 11 wickets, the card was the personal copy of Sydney Santall (Warwickshire CCC 1894-1914, & later coach until 1938); sold together with a blank invoice for Santall's Athletic Outfitters business in Bournemouth in the 1950s; also a telegram to Sydney Santall from 'Tiger' Smith, the Warwickshire & England wicket-keeper and Test Match Umpire, on the occasion of Santall's wedding anniversary in 1952 (3)
