Five boxed table tennis sets, i) ''The New Table Game of Ping Pong or Gossima'' by J.Jaques & Son circa 1905, with very fine gilt-decorated battledores measuring about 40cm., one with thinner grip for a lady, heavy wood and brass posts, net and three old balls, rules & directions, box complete but in need of repair; ii) ''The New Game of Whiff-Whaff or Table Tennis'' circa 1900 by Slazenger & Sons, with two Cumberland Best Vellum battledores measuring about 36cm., wooden posts with brass clamps, tube with 2 old balls, the rules printed inside the lid (with service direct over the net), box near complete but in need of repair; iii) ''Spear's Senior Table Tennis'', circa 1960s, fine box, all-metal posts, netting, 2 pimpled-rubber bats & 1 ball; iv) ''Table Tennis'', maker unknown, circa 1930s, with colour illustration of the family at play, a pair of pimpled-rubber cork bats, light-weight metal posts, the rules printed inside the incomplete lid; & v) ''Table Tennis'', by an unknown maker, circa 1960s, very unusually 4 pimpled-rubber sandpaper bats, a net, 8 balls, all-metal posts, rules printed inside the lid, appearing to be in completely unused condition
