A pine lawn tennis equipment box circa 1885, labelled LAWN TENNIS, a small paper label situated on the centre of the inside lid is printed HARE'S BRUSH, BASKET, AND UMBRELLA WAREHOUSES 32 & 33, WATERWORKS ST. TOY WAREHOUSE 21, SAVILLE ST. HULL, the box with a small compartment at each end and fitted with a pair of enamelled iron handles and hook and eye fasteners, length 95 cm., depth 16.5 cm., width 26cm.
