A good collection of autographs relating to Manchester United and their opponents during the first ever English campaign of European Cup football in 1956-57, comprising: an album page signed by their 1st Round opponents RSC Anderlecht; and another album page signed by Borussia Dortmund (2nd Round); a menu for the visit of Manchester United to Atletico de Bilbao for the q/f tie, signed inside by United's Spanish hosts; and a match programme for the s/f v Real Madrid signed in fountain pen by Busby and 9 of the United team on the line-ups page, Wood, Foulkes, Colman, Jones, Edwards, Berry, Whelan, Taylor & Viollet, the programme further signed on the p.7 Real Madrid photograph by 7 of the visitors Becerril, Marquitos, Munoz, Zarraga, Kopa, Di Stefano & Gento; the lot also including United home leg programmes for the 1st, 2nd & q/f matches (7)
