A rare programme for the 1938 World Cup Italy v Norway first round match, played at the Stade Velodrome, Marseille, 5th June, programme opens to reveal a fold out centre section with a line-up of both teams in pitch formation, and also results of all World Cup matches 1930 onwards, good condition overall, ink scores from 1938 competition annotated inside Eventual winners Italy had a scare in their first round match which required extra time for them to see off Norway 2-1.
