That’s a wrap! We've reached the end of the auction and we’re busy tying up final bids behind the scenes. Thanks for being part of it — we’ll be in touch soon.

A Football Association international trial cap awarded to 'Fanny' Walden whilst playing for Tottenham Hotspur in season 1913-14, purple & white quarters with F.A. monogram Fanny Walden was a winger who played for Tottenham Hotspur between 1913 and 1924. He joined Spurs from Northampton Town for a then record signing fee of ?1,700 and made over 300 appearances. He missed the 1921 F.A. Cup final through injury. What is being offered here is a trial cap during which he impressed enough to win a full England international cap in 1914, and won a second in 1922. During the summer months played first-class cricket for Northamptonshire CCC. He was an all-rounder who scored over 7,000 career runs and took over 100 wickets and later became an umpire and stood in Test Matches.
