An official photograph of Shamrock Football Club season 1899-1900, the sepia-toned 8 1/2 by 11 1/2in. image mounted on card with printed legends including the names of the subjects, published by Wickstead & Palmer, Cheapside, London The identity of this club is not clear. The picture was published by a London photographer and so was presumably an Irish Expat team. From this period a few mentions of a Shamrock club can be seen in Lloyd's Weekly Newspaper playing matches in the Ealing and Shepherd's Bush areas of west London.
