The Ellis Cup, otherwise known as The South Bank Amateur Challenge Cup, is one of the oldest football competitions in the world, having been first competed for in the Middlesbrough area in 1889. The 1910 Cup was won by Eston United and in 1912 by Eston Church Parish.
