Alan Mullery: a red England No.4 international jersey circa 1969-70, aertex, long-sleeved England first wore Aertex performance fabric shirts in 1969 during the tour of South America. Although evidently produced by Umbro as a colour change jersey, records show that England never wore a long-sleeved red shirt in any match. Provenance: Bought at Christie's Glasgow 8th November 1995 as lot 111.
