Gibson (Alfred) & Pickford (William) Association Football & The Men Who Made It, 4 vols, published by Caxton 1905, this set formerly owned by Lawrence Cotton, Chairman of Blackburn Rovers Football Club, who received the set from a Mr John Roberts as a token of esteem after Rovers won the League Championship in season 1911-12, presentation inscription in ink on front end paper of vol 1, and with Cotton's ownership name on all other vols.
