One of John Barnes's final career match jerseys: a red Charlton Athletic No.37 jersey 1999, short-sleeved, Premier League badges, the reverse lettered BARNES John Barnes joined Charlton Athletic from Newcastle United on a free on 10th February 1999 making his debut three days later against former club Liverpool. He made a further 11 appearances that season, mostly as substitute, and then announced his retirement after 20 years as a player. This jersey comes from the collection of Shaun Newton who played for Charlton Athletic between 1993 and 2001.
