A purple England v Scotland international cap awarded to Tommy Crawshaw in season 1896-97, dated 1896-97 Sheffield Wednesday defender Tommy Crawshaw won 10 England international caps between 1895 and 1904. The Scotland game in 1896-97 was played at The Crystal Palace. England took the lead through Steve Bloomer but the Scots turned the match around to win 2-1.
