A green Wales international cap awarded to Moses Russell in 1921, named to Russell on tag to interior, the cap inscribed F.A.W., 1921; sold together with a trade card issued by The Champion in 1922 portraying Russell wearing a Wales cap and shirt in 1914 (2) Moses Russell won a total of 23 Wales international caps between 1912 and 1928. At the time of selection in 1921 the full-back was playing for Plymouth Argyle whom he had joined from Merthyr Town in 1914. He made a total of 375 League appearances for Argyle up until 1930.
