A green Wales international debut cap awarded to Dan Lewis in season 1926-27, name tag to the interior inscribed D LEWIS, the cap inscribed F.A.W., 1926-27 Arsenal's goalkeeper Dan Lewis won three Wales international caps between 1927 and 1929. He made a total of 142 League appearances for the Gunners between 1924 and 1931 and played in the 1927 F.A. Cup Final. He never fully recovered from knee surgery in 1930 and played just a handful of games thereafter. Lewis was making his Wales debut in 1926-27 when selected for the England match at Wrexham 12th February 1927. The game ended as a 3-3 draw.
