The 1928 Imperial Cup, a silver-gilt trophy cup & cover, hallmarked D & J Wellby Ltd., London, 1928, the body inscribed SANDOWN, IMPERIAL CUP, 1928, ''ROYAL FALCON'', height 17cm., 6 1/2in., 581gr. Royal Falcon was owned by Miss Williams-Bulkeley and trained by Bob Gore. Following the victory in the 1928 Imperial Cup, Royal Falcon won the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham the following year.
