Cup Final appearance when they beat Bristol City 1-0 at the Crystal Palace 24th April 1909, white long-sleeved shirt with red 'V' and cuffs, embroidered cloth badge with silkwork red rose of Lancashire, label for Pilling, Briggs & Meredith, Sports Outfitters, Manchester, & 'Cup Tie' registered trade mark label and a name tag inscribed C ROBERTS, lacking original lacing The 1909 FA Cup Final was played at the Crystal Palace on 24th April and was contested by Manchester United and Bristol City. Manchester United won by a single goal, scored by Sand Turnbull, midway through the first half. This was the first of United's record eleven F.A. Cup titles to the present day.
