A blue England v Wales international cap 1947-48 awarded to Chelsea's Tommy Lawton, inscribed THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, E v W, 1947-48, colour faded Tommy Lawton had a long and successful career either side of the Second World War. This cap was won shortly before the Chelsea man transferred to Notts County. Lawton scored on of the goals in England's 3-1 win at Ninian Park.
