A hardwood boxed set of Ping Pong or Gossima early 20th century, a very nice boxed set of this popular game manufactured by John Jaques and Hamley Brothers, the hardwood box has a finely conditioned original label on the lid and is lined with the original green felt, inside are a pair of 'size 1 Vellum Warranted' battledores, a pair of brass and turned wood 'Ping Pong Regd. Jaques & Son'' posts, net, a box of one dozen balls and a small four-page 'Table Tennis Rules' booklet.
