The Aintree Racecourse set of parade ring grooms' armbands, a green painted pine box, the lid inscribed gilt TOPHAMS LTD., the fitted interior containing a quantity of metal armbands with elasticated fastenings, and sets of different coloured cards for races 1 to 6 inscribed with the horses' racecard numbers, plus some additional cards inscribed 'non runner' and for selling races 'to be sold', this historic item of memorabilia was employed for many years for Grand Nationals and all races at Aintree, 56 by 23 by 16cm.
