Rare and unusual Kuba Kingdom African textile commemorating the Muhammad Ali v George Foreman 'Rumble in the Jungle', World Heavyweight Championship fight in Kinshasa, Zaire, 25th September 1974, the design featuring both fighters within individual boxing gloves and named beneath, the background is a repeated pattern of pink boxing gloves on an indigo ground, the upper & lower margins with crescent moons & stars and roundels of a flaming torch being held and inscribed ''Le 25 Septembre 74, Kinshasha, Zaire, fine condition, measuring 84 by 117cm.
