1956 Stockholm Equestrian Olympic Games participant's badge issued to the French double Olympic gold medal winning dressage rider Capt. Andre Jousseaume, gilt-metal & enamel; sold together with a Member's Club badge issued to Capt. Jousseaume for the 1938 International Horse Show (2) Jousseaume won gold in the team dressage events at Los Angeles in 1932 and London in 1948. He also won silver in the team dressage at Berlin in 1936, silver in the individual event in London in 1948 and individual bronze in Helsink in 1952. At Stockholm, who substituted for Melbourne in 1956 because of the strict animal quarantine rules down under, he finished out of the medals in 5th. France were ranked 6th in the team event.
