Ernest ''Nudger'' Needham England v Scotland international football cap 1900, purple, rose emblem & dated Sheffield United's Left Half Ernest Needham won a total of 16 England international caps between 1894 and 1902. This cap relates to England's 4-1 defeat to Scotland at Celtic Park. Under Needham's captaincy, Sheffield United won the League Championship title in 1898, and two F.A. Cups in 1899 and 1902. Needham also played First Class Cricket.
