Dirceu World All Stars No.21 jersey from the UNICEF game v Cosmos at the Giants Stadium 30th August 1978, blue long-sleeved jersey with white trim, with soccer ball design badge inscribed WORLD ALL STARS, the right sleeve and back numbered 21, and lettered DIRCEU; sold with Dirceu's light blue World All Stars No.21 long-sleeved training jersey, the reverse numbering in an interesting and unusual font (2) Dirceu was a Vasco da Gama player when selected for the World All Stars team. The attacking midfielder played in the 1974, 1978 & 1982 World Cups for Brazil and was capped 44 times altogether. He moved to Europe in the 1980s and played for Atletico Madrid and a number of Italian teams. Provenance: The Charles Martinelli Collection. Former Equipment Manager of the New York Cosmos.
