A group of eight Tottenham Hotspur FC banker's cheques dating from 1925, sold together with a small file of suppliers' invoices and other club administrative papers, most notably signed typescript letters from the Tottenham Hotspur club secretary Reg S. Jarvis to the Everton Football Club secretary Bill Dickinson, the first dated 5th November 1954 and suggesting a kick-off time for the two clubs forthcoming fixture; the second dated 7th September 1956 and confirming that the club is agreeable to the BBC to provide a radio commentary service for the Spurs v Everton match scheduled for Christmas morning
