An interesting selection of racecards and ephemera, including 3 non-National day cards for the Aintree Spring meetings of 1968, 1969 & 1971, the latter signed by Lester Piggott; the 1974 & 1979 Cheltenham Gold Cups (Captain Christy & Alverton); Lester Piggott signed card for his final day of riding (1st retirement) at Nottingham 29th October 1985 (includes 2 photos taken on the day); 1998 Murphy's Gold Cup at Cheltenham signed by Sir Peter O'Sullevan; the postponed 2nd Day of the 2008 Cheltenham Festival; two Christmas cards from Tophams Ltd at Aintree for 1967 & 1971; and a 1951 booklet titled The Grand National For The Festival of Britain (11)
