After Cecil Aldin (1870-1935) THE START AND THE FINISH OF THE 1923 EPSOM DERBY (A PAIR) both signed by the artist in pencil to the lower left mount, colour photolithographs, blindstamps with limited edition number 19 (of 225), published by Richard Wyman & Co. Ltd., London, circa 1923, the backboard with original printed key identifying the names, numbers etc. of some of the horses depicted, also publisher's title labels, original wooden frames, glazed, overall 60 by 81cm. (2) The 1923 Derby was won by Mr B Irish's ''Papyrus'' trained by Basil Jarvis and ridden by Steve Donoghue.
