A ballot box formerly in the collection of the golf author Ian T. Henderson that is believed to have come from Muirfield home of The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers, mahogany with pitched top inscribed gilt either side YES & NO, the front with a funnel above two short lockable drawers also inscribed gilt YES & NO, a rod inserted at the top acts as an internal guide to assist placing a ball in the elected compartment, 44 by 31cm.
