Memorabilia relating to the British tennis player Betty Batt, comprising: a period 9 1/2 by 7 1/2in. photograph of Betty Batt by the Bassano Studio signed in ink ''Betty'' and dated 1937, matted, framed & glazed, 40.5 by 32cm. overall; a group of five hallmarked silver spoons dated between 1935 and 1938 and awarded as either winner's or runners-up presentations for the Middlesex Inter-County Grass Court Championships; the lot also including two All England LTC Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships Umpire's medals awarded to a family member H.W. Batt in 1933 & 1935, both in original case of issue (8) Elizabeth Batt (1916-2003) was a British Wightman Cup player and a regular doubles player at Wimbledon between 1933 and 1948. The lot includes some printed career statistics for Betty Batt and some reproduction photographs of further Bassano studio shots.
