A silver hip flask presented to the the cricketer ''Gubby'' Allen in 1952, hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield, 1937, later inscribed G,O,A,, FROM, THE ARABS, HOVINGHAM, 31st JULY 1952, 16cm. This occasion was probably organised by the former Yorkshire CCC captain, the amateur William Worsley. Sir William Arthington Worsley was a landowner who lived at Hovingham Hall in North Yorkshire.
