1970 World Cup presentation to Austrian FIFA referee Ferdinand Marschall, in the form of a silvered-metal plate set with enamel & gilt-metal badge and emblem, engraved with presentation inscription in German language, diameter 30cm.; sold together with a Mexico '70 pennant; and a Mexican magazine with coverage of the final tie (3) At the 1970 World Cup Marschall refereed the Group Match between eventual Champions Brazil and Romania. Two years later came his career highlight when he refereed the West Germany v USSR final tie in the UEFA 1972 European Championships.
