A photograph album compiled by the Cambridge University and England international rugby union player Francis Steinthal (also known as Francis Petrie), compiled circa 1906-1913, pasted with a series of high quality sporting photographs from university sporting and social life at Trinity College, Cambridge, including the rugby, cricket and hockey teams, the album also containing a photograph of the Oxford University & South Africa rugby teams in 1906, other photographs relating to travel & recreation; the lot also including ephemera including a dinner menu for Steinthal's England debut match at Centre v Wales in Cardiff 18th January 1913, the back cover signed in pencil amongst others by the England players Wodehouse, Pillman & Davies; also four various RFU selection letters including his two England appearances v Wales & France in 1913
