Rare autograph of the early Wimbledon Ladies Champion Charlotte Cooper Sterry, being a signed letter dated April 11 1924 on personal headed paper; sold with a Trim card, and rare colour postcard at Wimbledon 1901 with portraits of Mrs Sterry; the lot also including an illustrated article published in The Golden Penny 2nd July 1898 (4) Charlotte Cooper Sterry won the Ladies Wimbledon Singles title five times in 1895, 1896, 1898, 1901 & 1908, and both the Wimbledon Ladies Doubles and the Mixed Championship in 1908.
