A pair of finely modelled Austrian Art Nouveau porcelain figures of lady tennis players by Ernst Wahliss, Turn/Wein, circa 1900, both holding strung rackets and a ball, fully stamped and marked on the base with a crown containing the initials ''E.W.'' ''Turn Wein Made in Austria'', with stamped numerals 4677 and 4678 (4677 223 11), height 26cm., excellent condition. The Ernst Wahliss crown mark was used from 1897 to 1904.
