A signed manuscript letter from the London 1908 Olympic Games marathon champion Johnny Hayes, one sheet written in ink both sides, dated 29th April 1958, being a thank you letter to a Mr & Mrs William Rozett of Winchester, Mass., complete with original mailing envelope; sold together with an Italian magazine Lettura Sportiva, 6th December 1908, with a front cover illustration of Pietri Dorando, the Italian who was controversially disqualified from the London 1908 Olympic marathon (2) Rozett was also an American marathon runner.
