Spanish National Sports Delegation (DND) Olympic Games trophy awarded to Jose Antonio Elola-Olaso, in the form of a two-handled trophy cup affixed to a black composition base set with a 1950s Franco era Spanish Olympic insignia, the cup inscribed DELEGADO NACIONAL DE EDUCACION FISICA Y DEPORTES, height 26cm., width across handles 23cm., good condition The Spanish National Delegation for Physical Education & Sport was established in 1956 by the Franco Regime. At its head was the National Delegate, a post occupied from its inauguration and until December 1966 by Jose Antonio Elola-Olaso.
