DEWAR ESQ., SHERIFF OF LONDON, 1897-8 Although the medal does not have any match detail engraving, the gold hallmark date letter is for 1898-99. In this year Aston Villa and Queen's Park of Glasgow played out a goalless draw at the Crystal Palace and honours were shared.
