Scottish Football League v The Football League representative medal awarded to James Mason of Third Lanark FC in season 1949-50, 9ct. gold, inscribed S.F.L. v F.L., cased This match was played at Ayresome Park, Middlesbrough. The Scottish League were defeated 3-1 by the hosts. Jimmy Mason was a stalwart of the St Mirren team making a total of 207 League appearances for the club either side of the Second World War between 1936 and 1952. The inside forward represented the Scottish F.L. seven times and also won seven Scotland international caps.
