Two locks of hair from Native Dancer and Discovery, dated 1957, two American Racing Hall of Fame Champions, each lock enclosed in a plastic bag with paper labels, bearing names and details. Native Dancer nicknamed the Grey Ghost was one of the most celebrated and accomplished Thoroughbred racehorse's in history, winner of the Belmont Stakes 1953 and entered into the US Racing Hall of Fame in 1963; Discovery a champion American Thoroughbred racehorse, runner-up in the 1934 Kentucky Derby and entered into the US Racing Hall of Fame in 1969. Both horses were owned by Alfred G Vanderbilt.
