Cox] 1895 1,000 Guineas winner Galeottia, the hinged lid engraved 'Galeottia by Galopin - Agave foaled 1892 - died 1911, Dam of many winners and herself winner One Thousand Guineas Etc Etc', the interior of the hinged lid engraved with 'from W Fairie to Arthur May the best of stud grooms', the hoof mounted with a plate engraved with 'Preserved by Rowland Ward Ltd, 167 Piciadilly.W', bears silver hallmarks for London 1911 with Rowland Ward marks, 8.5 x 13 x 9.5 cm.
