That’s a wrap! We've reached the end of the auction and we’re busy tying up final bids behind the scenes. Thanks for being part of it — we’ll be in touch soon.

Fight worn and signed Henry Cooper boxing trunks believed to have been from the Boston Jacobs fight at De Montfort Hall, Leicester, 17th April 1967, in blue velvet & white silk by Lonsdale of London, with H C monogram, signed by Cooper in blue biro to the maker's label, mounted with a title plaque, framed & glazed, 77 by 96cm. Bought at auction at an evening event to celebrate the 82nd birthday of Henry Cooper's boxing manager Jim Wicks in 1976. The auctioneer of the trunks was Henry Cooper himself. This was also the evening when ''This Is Your Life'' TV show host Eamonn Andrews surprised Jim Wicks with his 'big red book'. On this occasion the trunks were sold as being worn by Cooper in his second fight with Muhammad Ali at Arsenal's Highbury Stadium in 1966, but this information is incorrect. Extensive research is strongly pointing towards the Boston Jacobs fight from the following year as being the correct attribution.
