James Weaver's 1988 Otford Group and Team Sauber Mercedes racesuits, the first a Simpson Nomex design in the Otford colours of cream with black and orange bands, his name and bloodgroup embroidered upon the right breast, with Team Sauber Mercedes, Camel GT, IMSA, Michelin and Shell Oils patches added later for use in the WEC and USA, the second, a dark blue Team Sauber Mercedes racesuit, his name and BRDC patches on the breast, a team patch across the back and T L Clowes on the arms, a Nomex suit by Simpson, sold with 3 photos of the first suit in use (5) Originally used in The Otford Group's Lola T286 for the British Thundersports series, this suit was also used in practice for the 1000km WEC race at Silverstone with Sauber-Mercedes, before being changed for their blue suit for the race. when he finished third sharing with Mauro Baldi, the pairing also taking fourth in Brno.
