A collection of 12 autographed Scotland rugby union international match programmes, including six S.R.U. VIP editions bound in dark blue leather embossed gilt, some with marbled end papers; together with six regular programmes, content listed below; the lot also including an autographed dinner dance menu in celebration of the 1983-84 Grand Slam season; and a rarely available book privately compiled by Bob Ironside & Sandy Thorburn in 1971 for the Scottish Rugby Union titled ''Scotland v England 1871'', commemorating the centenary of the world's first rugby international match played at Raeburn Place, Edinburgh, Monday 27th March 1871, with a foreword by R. Wilson Shaw, President S.R.U 1970-71, 38 pages, plates & illustrations, dark blue binding, silver titling, printed by T & A Constable Ltd., Edinburgh (14) The VIP SRU Murrayfield programmes are signed by both sides unless otherwise stated and comprise the matches v South Africa 1969, England 1970, France 1970, Wales 1971, Ireland 1971 & France 1972 (signed by the Scots only); the regular programmes are also signed by both teams unless otherwise stated and comprise England 1984, France 1984 (signed by the Scots only), France 1986, Wales 1986, Japan 1986 & South Africa 1994.
