Terry Venables privately commissioned group of eight oil paintings by the artist Ashley Luff who has portrayed a selection of Terry's favourite football personalities, each signed and bearing dates between 1996 & 1998, oil on canvas board, each 30.5 by 23cm., uniformly framed, the football celebrities comprising: TONY ADAMS, DAVE MACKAY, TOM FINNEY, STANLEY MATTHEWS, BRYAN ROBSON, PAUL McGRATH, DAVID SEAMAN & ALAN SHEARER; sold together with two further Venables commissions of Luff's work in pastel, comprising retrospective drawings of Corinthians FC circa 1890, and the cricketing brothers W.G. & E.M. Grace, both signed, titled and dated 1992 & 1993 respectively, the second the slightly larger image 35 by 38cm., the first the slightly larger frame size 55 by 49cm. (10)
