This lot is being auctioned on behalf of Guards Polo Club and the proceeds will go to Polo Pastures: An original JAK [Raymond Jackson, 1927-1997] cartoon artwork featuring a humorous scene in the bar of the Guards Polo Club, signed JAK, titled ''NOT ANOTHER ABUSE OF THE STICK OLD BOY?'', pencil drawing, the image 42 by 54cm., mounted, framed & glazed, overall 53 by 63cm., good At the request of the Guards Polo CLub the entire sale proceeds from this lot will be donated to the charity Polo Pastures, a not for profit organisation for the re-homing of polo ponies. Jak was one of the best known British newspaper cartoonists who mostly worked for the London Evening Standard.
