A trio of polo-themed objects, i) an unusual silver brooch, stamped Sterling, decorated with a polo match scene, 6 by 5cm. ii) a silver ashtray, stamped sterling silver, the centre of the bowl featuring the crest of the Rhine Army Polo Association, diameter 8cm. iii) an Indian brass plate, the elaborate decoration featuring a polo match, diameter 20.5cm. Rhine Army Polo Club, an military association formed after WWII, has regimental clubs that play on grounds at Bad Lippspringe, Hohne, Fallingbostel, Munster, Luneburg Heath, Hanover, Bad Bentheim, Dusseldork and Wesendorf.
