A Victorian trophy awarded at Ashtead Polo Club in 1889, in the form of a Victorian silver-plated pint tankard, inscribed ASHTEAD POLO CLUB, 1889, COAT & UMBRELLA RACE, WON BY L.L.S. LLOYD, areas of plating loss Ashtead Club founded in Surrey in 1887 by Mr Walter Peake, reached the County Cup's finals in 1890. In 1892 the club moved to Fetcham and adopted its new name Fetcham Park. The major players were Ernest Courage, William Fraser-Tyler, Arthur Moon, Lewis Paine.
