St Moritz 1928 Winter Olympic Games participant's medal awarded to Andre Poplimont, Chef d'Equipe of the Belgian Olympic Team, bronze, by M. As a hockey player he won a bronze medal at the 1924 European Championships whilst Begium finished ranked 7th at the 1924 Chamonix Winter Olympic Games. As a fencer he narrowly missed out on a medal in the team epee event at the Los Angeles 1932 Olympics with Belgium finishing 4th.
