1954 Charity Shield silver plaque awarded to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Eddie Clamp, octagonal trophy applied with silver shield inscribed FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION CHARITY SHIELD, with gilt legend WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS v  WEST BROMWICH ALBION WEDNESDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER 1954, stamped Sterling Silver, 13.5 by 13.5cm. The match was a 4-4 draw meaning that, for only the second time in history, the Charity Shield was shared. Eddie Clamp also played for England in the 1958 FIFA World Cup.
